🇧🇷Algumas pessoas já me perguntaram a respeito desta boneca.
"É a Barbie?" A resposta é sempre a mesma: 'Não, não é a Barbie'... Hoje vou lhes contar a história desta boneca: Um dia estava caminhando por uma rua comercial chamada Teodoro Sampaio [São Paulo/SP]. Nessa rua estão localizadas várias pequenas lojas de variedades [AMO]. Ao entrar numa delas, me deparei com uma boneca muito feia e pensei: "Meu Deus! o que fizeram com você, menina? Você está bem? Venha, vamos embora dar um jeito nisso". Ao chegar em meu atelier comecei a transformar a boneca numa versão brasileira de Frida Kahlo. Troquei o cabelo, refiz a maquiagem, costurei uma nova roupa. Fiquei tão contente com o resultado que no dia seguinte voltei à mesma loja para resgatar as demais pobrezinhas que ainda estavam lá. Há 3 anos essa atividade tem sido meu 'hobby'. Uma ação tão divertida me fez pensar no tanto de coisas na vida que deixamos de lado, sem perceber seu verdadeiro potencial. Elas estão ali aguardando anciosamente por um olhar e a gente deixa passar...💛

🇺🇸Some people have already asked me about this doll.
"Is it Barbie?" The answer is always the same: 'No, it's not Barbie' ... Today I will tell you the story of this doll: One day I was walking along a commercial street called Teodoro Sampaio [São Paulo/Brazil]. In this street are located several small variety shops. As I entered one of them, I came across a very ugly doll and I thought: "My God, what have they done to you, my little girl? Are you okay? Come on, let's get this over with." 💃🏻 When I arrived in my studio I began to transform the doll into a Brazilian version of Frida Kahlo. I changed her hair, made up the new makeup, sewed a new outfit. 💄 I was so happy with the result that the next day I went back to the same store to rescue the other dolls were still there. This activity has been my hobby for 3 years. This fun action made me think of so much of things in life that we set aside without realizing its true potential. They are waiting there for a look and we let it pass...💛
